The aim of my art project was to create ‘jewellery for the future‘. I focused on exploring possibilities of innovative placement of the jewellery on the body and thus inventing a new form of jewellery. The essential goal for me was to design a uturistic piece of jewellery, but suitable for regular wearing at the same time. The resulting design was drawn from several inspirational sources, such as sci-fi, cyberpunk,
futurism and so on. Mullatem is made of silver which was chosen on purpose as a noble and easily shapeable material. The glossy look of silver moreover evokes the cosmic feeling of cold of the lifestyle in the future.
